Another huge selling point for this condo to us is the primary bedroom. Our condo is a corner unit and where the primary bedroom is located. Across two walls the bedroom has a total of four windows and it makes for really wonderful natural light.
We completed our bedroom renovation in two mini-phases. The first part was to get the basics complete, paint, flooring, etc, find all of those details in this post. We went months without a properly set up bedroom, so the priority was to get the major projects complete and some of the furniture into the room. We opted for white bedding, so as we got the room a little bit more together, we felt it needed some pop of color to really make it seem complete.
Green seems to be a really trendy color lately, so I could not resist playing around with some green accent walls in the bedroom design. We had two options, basically light green vs. dark green. We did not want to just do the green on the bed wall, but integrate it somewhere else, so that the whole bedroom felt cohesive. We opted for a smaller accent wall at my desk. The color we decided on is Benjamin Moore Salamander in eggshell finish.
The finished bedroom is our little retreat and still remains the best natural light in the house. We love to put all of the blinds up, enjoy our large windows and the unobstructed view in front of us. All of the details on the primary bedroom are shared below:
